If you are looking for an inexpensive coffee table then there are a few places you can look. Depending on your budget you can go super-cheap (the kind of cheap where you're looking for a dorm room type coffee table) or just sorta-cheap (like the kind of cheap where you want it to look nice but you don't really care about the quality).
Super-Cheap

The super-cheap kind of coffee table can be found at places like garage sales, flea markets, and the classifieds. These are the spots where people are just trying to get rid of the tables but aren't necessarily looking to maximize their profit margins. Just be careful though because these are really, really cheap and used furniture if not properly taken care of, can be in really bad shape. You will save the most money if you buy from these places though.
Sorta-Cheap
The sorta-cheap routes include buying the table new or buying it online from a site like Amazon or eBay. When you have a little bit of money to spend your options really open up. You can go to your local shopping center and visit a store like Target and find some decently priced tables that are of lesser quality, but are still new. You can check out Amazon.com and find that they have tons of tables listed and with those tables they even have reviews given from other people who have already purchased the tables so you know for a fact if the tables are junk or not.
These are just a few of the places you can look for a coffee table that isn't expensive.
